FIRING

What potter isn't attracted to the kiln and the mysteries of the firing process? I certainly am! Anticipating this final phase of the making cycle is a time of heightened joy in the studio. Now the final step - the firing - marries intention, learning, and hope with alchemy and fate. A sometimes enigmatic combination!
